Hello, my name is Angie Bolton and together with my family and golden retriever, Lily, we are the proud owners of Hyde Cottage. Our lovely detached home surrounded by RSPB heathland in Stoborough, is just off the A351 between Wareham and Corfe Castle and very close to RSPB Arne.
We moved onto the beautiful Isle of Purbeck after searching for our dream home for many years. We feel we have found somewhere very special where we wake every morning and feel fortunate to be here. Our large, peaceful garden has access onto Stoborough Heath and is the perfect place to relax with a good book and cream tea after a busy day swimming at Studland, walking over the hills to Corfe Castle or visiting T. E. Lawrence's (Lawrence of Arabia) cottage Clouds Hill, Monkey World or the Tank Museum. In our garden, just when you least expect it, you may look up to find yourselves in the company of our frequent visitors, the Sika deer. The stars at night are amazing and we recommend you borrow a blanket, take out a hot chocolate and do some serious star gazing.
We have ample parking and each comfortable en-suite room has Wi-Fi, a television, hair dryer, fridge and facilities to make hot drinks with fresh milk. A homemade scone and butter will be in your room on arrival. Cream teas can be arranged. We are happy to cater to your needs with a home cooked breakfast including seasonal homemade preserves. We are perfectly placed for walkers, cyclists and sightseeing by car and are within walking distance of a local pub and bus routes to Swanage and Bournemouth/Poole.
Please let me know when booking if you have any allergies or special requirements, dietary or otherwise and I will do my best to ensure these are followed.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to our home and helping to make your stay here at Hyde Cottage on the Isle of Purbeck a memorable and happy one.
