Firstly, in these anxious times we very much hope that together with family and friends, you are keeping safe and well.
We continue to follow government guidelines here at Hyde Cottage and so are encouraging all our lovely guests who have already booked their well earned break to re book when we are in more certain times at no extra cost.
Although we are unable to accomodate you in this beautiful part of Dorset, we are still working hard to ensure that everything is as welcoming as it can be. Arne bedroom is undergoing new curtains, settee and arm chair covers as well as fresh paint. There's also a surprise in the bathroom (creativity has time to flourish when we have time to think).
Nature at least is unaware of our current situation and the sparrows have moved into the newly erected bird boxes as have the blue tits. Robins, blackbirds, great tits, dunnocks and woodpeckers visit daily as do the Sika deer. Neadless to say, we feel extremely fortunate to live in such a beautiful place where we can walk onto Stoborough heath from our garden. April 16th heard the first cuckoo arrive and it feels like there is great hope in the garden and nature at least.
I would like to send you all our very best wishes from Hyde Cottage, if you have any questions please give us a ring on 01929 553344 and we will very much look forward to welcoming you as friends yet to meet.
Mrs Angie Bolton
